CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES 

 

FURNITURE SALES AND DESIGN CONSULTANT

- Sales and customer service
- Passion for interior and furniture design
- Motivated to learn kitchen/furniture design
Hours: Tuesday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm, Saturday 9am - 4pm
Location: Showroom - Ponsonby, Auckland

Ideal Candidate:
Previous retail experience in Furniture, Homewares or Fashion.
Passion for Furniture, Homewares, Interiors and/or Fashion.
Motivated to become a Designer in Furniture, Homewares, Kitchens or Fashion.
Competent on the Computer and able to use Microsoft Excel, Word and Gmail.
Customer focused and willing to go above and beyond.
Sales focused.
Ability to work in a team environment and independently

Sales & Customer Service
Furniture and Kitchen Design (Quoting, Consulting and Designing) - We provide the training here.
General Admin Duties

OFFICE ASSISTANT/BOOK KEEPER

- Accounting Admin Role (Xero and Excel)
- Assistant to the company directors
- Office Admin duties
Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm
Location: Showroom - Ponsonby, Auckland and Workshop - Onehunga, Auckland

Ideal Candidate:
Good Xero experience
Able to use Excel/Sheets and Word/Docs
Competent on the Computer and able to use Gmail.
Customer focused and willing to go above and beyond.
Ability to work in a team environment and independently

Role & Responsibilities:
- Payroll weekly
- GST and PAYE payables monthly
- Ordering Materials and managing suppliers (Purchase orders, paying creditors)
- Entering in invoices and managing sales orders
- Dispatching orders from our system
- Monthly reporting
- Manage stock takes quarterly
- Admin Tasks
- General Cleaning and Tidy

APPRENTICE CABINET MAKER 

Are you keen to learn a new trade? Mood is on the lookout for a new candidate to join our team. We will teach you everything in cabinetry. We specialize in both furniture and kitchens and will be the perfect company to get you started in the industry.
- On the job training provided. Apprenticeship Programs Offered
- Apprenticeship Fees Covered by Government Funded Scheme
Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm
Location: Workshop - Onehunga, Auckland

Ideal Candidate:
- Young and motivated
- Strong and is able to work well in a team. 
- Interested in a new career path
- Clean drivers license (restricted or over)

Role & Responsibilities:
Delivery of furniture orders
Packing and sending online orders
Stock take and order new materials
Keep workspaces clean and tidy
Assist all team members with various tasks.

Clean full drivers license - Manual
Experience in driving large vans
Good communication and organizational skills
Physically able for moderate physical work, moving furniture and boxes

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Kitchen Installer to join our busy team. We specialize in Designer Furniture and Kitchen Cabinets and we take pride in the quality and range of our work.
- Installation of Kitchen Cabinets in Auckland
- Experience required and will join a team of installers
- Requires a high standard of workmanship, attention to detail and highly motivated.
Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm
Location: All of Auckland and based at the Workshop - Onehunga, Auckland
 
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Cabinet Maker/Installer
- Previous experience in Furniture or Kitchen Installation.
- Good customer service and willing to go above and beyond.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
